A curious new (re)brand

CINCINNATI – In honor of its 10th anniversary and leveraging the momentum of record company growth, Cincinnati-based independent creative solutions agency Curiosity is doubling-down on its name with a new logo, website, processes, and service offerings. The company is best known for working with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Stearns & Foster, Bush’sⓇ Beans, Borden Dairy, Roto-Rooter, Formica, and Cincinnati Bell.

The year-long exploration included a deep-dive into the scientifically-proven benefits of curiosity itself and the impact it has on business success. With the knowledge that inherently curious people are proven to be more collaborative, empathetic and adaptable, leading to more creative solutions, Curiosity incorporated this research into every touchpoint a potential new client or employee may have with the agency.

“Curiosity is about seeing things differently, flipping perspectives, twisting ideas into alternative solutions. That’s the story behind our new logo because that’s the story behind us,” says Jeff Warman, Curiosity’s Chief Creative Officer. “While giving Curiosity a fresh new look is an important part of the rebrand, the changes we made on the inside really bring the story to life. From our hiring process to our service offerings, our goal is to inspire the spirit of curiosity in our culture and in our client relationships -- that together we can question everything and accomplish anything. In a world with no definitive answers, that’s an empowering feeling.”

Part of the rebrand includes an evolved hiring process to specifically screen for the most curious talent. And for clients, Curiosity launched an onboarding and strategic conceptualization process called Curious Question Sessions, which fosters engaging exploration through gamification.

The process encourages participants to think beyond the easy and often-expected answers to reach truly differentiating and alternative solutions. Nearly all of Curiosity’s clients have benefited from the CQ session.

Additionally, Curiosity has kept a close eye on the evolved needs around content. That’s why they launched Curio, their in-house content studio which offers high-quality videography, editing,  animation, photography, and audio productions at a fraction of the cost, and with an expedited timeline.

“Our agency is on a journey. We’re evolving by adding talent and services to meet the changing needs and expectations of clients today,” said President and Chief Client Officer Trey Harness. “We’ve aligned on a mission and vision that will allow us to solve the tough business challenges our clients face. Those challenges aren’t just met with a communication solution anymore. They require a truly integrated solution that is experiential, measurably successful and incredibly cost-effective.”

Curiosity first opened its doors in 2010. Led by CEO Matt Fischer and COO Greg Livingston, the company established a name for itself working with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Mentos, Build-A-Bear, and Disney. In recent years, the company has experienced tremendous growth with the hiring of Trey Harness as president and chief client officer, Jeff Warman as the chief creative officer, and Ashley Walters as the chief development officer. In 2019 the company saw record growth and established relationships with new clients including Borden Dairy, Bush’sⓇ Beans, Western & Southern Financial Group, P&G’s Native Deodorant, and JobsOhio. Curiosity ended 2019 with a record 40 percent increase in revenue.

Curiosity continues to be one of the fastest-growing agencies in the midwest, located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. To see the new brand in action, and view Curiosity’s newest work reel, go to www.curiosity.fun.
