In early 2021, after driving a 37% sales spike in Farmer Focus organic chicken, it became clear that many consumers took a second to pause and reflect on what values (and brands) they wanted to align themselves to post-pandemic. For many, starting the new year right wasn’t just about what you put in your body – it was about choosing a brand with humane, values-based practices. And Farmer Focus was the answer to both. As the brand looked to build awareness, we needed to create a connection with consumers who were looking for more than just the typical mass-produced chicken.

The goal of our influencer program was to break through the “healthy eating” clutter and align Farmer Focus with influencers who are doing things their own way. Makers, chefs, entrepreneurs, and other like-minded spirits who don’t settle for mediocre, who have a spirit of independence, and who empower the underdog. No celebrities, no the “A lot of you have been asking"-type Instagrammers, but unique humans who have a following because they show up as they are.

We leveraged these creators to communicate the Farmer Focus story to their audiences – fostering brand awareness via authentic storytelling. With less focus on food and more focus on purpose, these individuals spoke passionately about our client's humane practices, their commitment to family farms and fair pay, and their unique Farm ID system.

The results.

The campaign successfully drove a significant, double-digit increase in all brand lift metrics, with a great impact on Awareness (+29 pts) and Favorability (+28 pts). The campaign also saw a record-breaking increase in Brand Engagement (+38 pts). Besides increasing awareness for an organic chicken brand making a difference, we also contributed to a +37% sales increase per store. To which we can only say, "winner, winner, chicken dinner."
